About

Ludditejourno is not my real name.  It’s not even how I feel every day, just how I felt the day I set this up.  Other days might include music, sport, cycling, science fiction or gardening in an-attempt-to-be-amusing moniker.

In fact, in the real world I go by Sandra Dickson, and I studied journalism at Whitireia Polytech under the decidedly inspiring Jim Tucker.  Then I went back to work that did not feel soul-destroying.

I’ll be blogging on life, the universe and everything, with a little bit of news-watching and media stuff.

Welcome to the unreal world – it’s addictive like peanut butter M&M’s.

    “LudditeJourno”, what the hell?
A Luddite is someone who opposes technological change. It appears you
    are embracing technological changes
when it comes to news deliverance.

Catherine Delahunty and I are publishing a series of articles on Womens visions of a Compassionate Economy, the first one is up, from Sue Bradford on Children. There are 8 altogether, being published each week from today. We are trying to find ways to engage women in disucssion os on the economy and its transformation in ways that are accessible, not pointy headed and full of jargon. Id be interested in your views.
